Product placement taken to a whole new level. Seriously though, after that, he's my hero.

IIRC Dennis also hired someone to tune the placement so the sound waves don't cancel or something like that.

Quote from Minimaxman :He's never had a sense of humour but we didn't know he'd be this bad - he didn't come out of his room or speak to us / see any of us for a week!

What a baby, we do that to people's cars here all the time. It happened to me three times last year.

The more I think about it, the more I feel like we need Vettel to have a mechanical failure or accident if Alonso is going to win the title.

Meh, most good games now are switching over to the two-disk system. The last three I bought (BF3, Forza 4, Halo 4) all had two disks, so I imagine that with the amount of content they are promising GTA V will be no different.

As for hard drive space, you really do need to get the larger drives. Yea it's a pain that they aren't included from the start, but it's just something you have to live with.

Nah, I think the photos are shrunk enough just to make it appear that there is AA.

Just got this email from my brother. Really sums up how we both feel about the election.

Quote :And so begin the postmortems. I think the Romney campaign will be a lesson for the ages that you cannot lie and scheme your way to the presidency. The country would have survived if he won, but such a victory would have essentially been fraudulent. In one of my gov classes last year, we were talking about how all the indicators (unemployment, economic growth, etc) suggested that this was an election in which the incumbent should lose. Obama did not triumph in this election; Romney was just too awful of a candidate to ever win. Not liked by conservatives, moderates, or liberals. He fooled people for a little while with the good debate performance, but enough people saw through it and realized that he's a snake.

Another part of his email brought up a story that no one has really talked about. Interesting, because we're going to need a new flag if the story carries through.

Quote :Another interesting story is unfolding that has been almost completely drowned out by the presidential coverage. Puerto Rico held a referendum on their status last night, and it appears that statehood has come out as the preferred choice. The referendum was non-binding, but it is believed that Puerto Rican officials will begin to draft congressional legislation admitting them to the union. We may have a 51st state soon enough.

Quote from PMD9409 :And Rappa, I'm sure you're gonna have plenty of political stuff to read for a week or two.

Nah, the people I know are the kinds of people who know so little about politics they barely know the party platforms. They just wanted to seem 'educated' by tweeting about the election.

In fact, they've already stopped tweeting about the election because the big thing now (as opposed to an hour ago) is the fact that Colorado is the first state to legalize recreational marijuana.

It's over.

It's finally f'ing over.

I can go back to having a Facebook and Twitter that's not full of political opinions 24/7.

I think that's one of the overlooked elements of a really good driver. Honestly, I bet all of the drivers (at least the non-pay ones) are almost exactly the same pace if they have the car driving like they want it to. It's the ability to fix a car you don't like or adapt yourself to the car's style that makes good drivers truly great.

I feel like that's something Button did that Kovalainen didn't. As for Hamilton, I know the McLaren has been slow at times but I feel like he hasn't had the sort of experience with this that other drivers have. Hopefully we'll get to see how he deals with it at Mercedes next year.

Quote from Racer X NZ :OK, but clearly your brother does................... ( at least on this point, ok ? )

Then I guess we do sort of agree, it's just we're more passive in our hatred of our own government.

Not that I agree with Racer X, but as my brother put US elections to his friends in South Africa, "The only real scandal in the US elections is if you actually show up to the polls."

Is it just me or do they both slam on the throttle and spin their tyres trying to finish, which just creates a massive amount of smoke that makes the crash so bad.

It's pronounced "Fah que," works sorta like the name Eric Shun.
